EACMFS2026

President's Message

Thank You

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Before the dust settles, I feel this is the perfect moment to say how truly honoured and grateful I am for your extraordinary participation, enthusiasm, smiles and wonderful feedback throughout an unforgettable week in Athens.

You made the 28th EACMFS Congress-Athens 2026 a truly remarkable event, and I will cherish the honour of sharing it with you forever.

Thank you.

I am delighted to share with you some of the highlights of our 28th EACMFS Congress. This is the moment to express my sincerest thanks to all our speakers, organisers, trainees and participants and, last but certainly not least, our incredible volunteers, whose dedication and energy made this Congress such a success.

EACMFS has become a truly global Association. I have often said that EACMFS has a unique “soft power”: the ability to bring people together through scientific excellence, friendship, camaraderie, technical innovation and networking. Athens 2026 demonstrated this more strongly than ever.

Thank you once again for your support, trust and dedication to EACMFS.

As we bid farewell to Athens, let me assure you that the EACMFS story goes on. Our journey together is far from over.

I look forward to seeing where the future takes us - and, above all, to seeing you again at EACMFS Amsterdam 2028!

With my warmest wishes and deepest gratitude,

Nicholas Kalavrezos President, 28th EACMFS Congress
Athens 2026
